HR Assistant Director Fatima Washington— HR Assistant Director Fatima Washington is a dedicated and steadfast employee at MAWSS. We would like to congratulate Washington on all of her hard work for the past 14 years! Washington is the Assistant Human Resource Officer who has been with the company since January 22, 2005! Washington’s favorite part of the job is helping employees resolve any issues or concerns they may have while working at MAWSS. In addition, it is making sure employees know their voice matters and getting employees to dream big. Washington left us with her favorite quote, “Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could.” —Steve Jobs.
Diversity Manager Felicia Thomas— Diversity Manager Felicia Thomas is a committed and hard-working employee at MAWSS. We would like to congratulate Thomas on being named Gateway 2019 Different by Design Corporate Advocate of the year for the Southern Region. Thomas is the Supplier Diversity Manager and has been with the company for 3.5 years! Thomas’s favorite part of the job is helping small businesses build capacity for growth. Thomas left us with her favorite quote, “You may not control all events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” —Maya Angelou.
As you can see, both Washington and Thomas have accomplished great things while working for MAWSS. Their hard work does not go unnoticed. We would like to say thank you for everything you have done while working for MAWSS!
